GENERAL PAINT SPECIFICATIONS FOR PRE-PAINTED COILS
Coating topside:Suitable for roll forming. 25 microns total dry thickness, polyester, with internal lubricants, on primer. NCCA II-1or ECCA T4 pencil hardness HB - 2H. NCCA Standard “T” bend Test method or ASTM D4145-83 (must pass 2T bend test, no pick off with Scotch #610 tape). ECCA test to 1T is also acceptable. Coating test to ECCA T1 at every coil. Light wax or evaporative lubricant to be applied to exterior of paint.
Backside:12 microns total dry thickness, epoxy primer and polyester wash coat.
